Anti Tamper Workstation Solution

Recent projects our Custom Design Department have completed included a bespoke anti tamper computer workstation for the Dell XPS One computer, keyboard and mouse. The client, a global fast food restaurant chain, required over 1000 units to be supplied and fitted into their team rooms over a 6 week period.

Liaising closely with the client we identified key features required to be included within the specification. An on site ergonomic assessment was carried out to ascertain the type of usage and range of operators likely to be using the workstation in order to calculate the best fit dimensions. The workstation must also allow for both left and right handed operation. Also key to the client was a high level of security though presented unobtrusively. The system must be bolted to the floor, cables managed internally within the pole, allow monitor and keyboard to be rotated for both privacy and presentation purposes.

Within a 2 week period, our Custom Design Department had initial designs approved and a prototype manufactured and presented to the client. An in situ evaluation followed and only minor changes made to the finalised design.

The national rollout then commenced, with ErgoMounts liaising with the national installation team manager. Within a 6 week period, ErgoMounts delivered 1100 computer workstations on 72 scheduled drops nationwide. All was achieved on budget and on schedule.
