Council’s Flagship Office Now User Friendly

Hackney Borough Council covers one of the most ethnically diverse and densely populated regions of the U.K. Their new flag ship open plan customer service centre is at the heart of their interaction with their customers. Due to the hot desking nature of the proposed environment, Hackney Council needed to work closely with an experienced company with a proven track record for providing ergonomic and reliable LCD mounting solutions.

Over a 2 month period ErgoMounts supplied a range of LCD monitor arms, LCD wall mount brackets and CPU holders for the council to evaluate in the flesh. After careful consideration of the usage, positioning and movement requirements it was established that a number of different solutions would eventually be required and that some customisation would also be necessary. Computacenter, Hackney Council's chosen IT reseller supplied all other related IT equipment along with over 100 ErgoMounts solutions.

Eventually the VisionPro 500 series, UltraView 400 and UltraView 401 LCD arms, FX series LCD wall mounts and UniFlex CPU holders were supplied and fitted to the new custom desks within the customer service auditorium and Library areas.

ErgoMounts have had the pleasure in supplying over 600 ergonomic LCD monitor arms to the leading accountancy company over the past 18 months. The recent refurbishment of their offices within the Royal Liver Building saw the installation of a further 200 x VisionPro 500 series LCD monitor arms. This particular solution was selected once again as it enabled users to effortlessly reposition the monitor to the appropriate height, reach and viewing angle. The reliability of the product was also essential and proved itself over a 12 month period without a single reported failure.

ErgoMounts completed the supply and installation over a 3 day period working closely with the installation engineers of the new desking systems.

The all new Casino Palace in Bucharest re-opened in June 2009 following renovations of some of its rooms. Casino Palace is the most elegant casino in Romania and it is located at Casa Vernescu; a historical monument built in 1821, famous for its impressive architecture and the unique ambience.

ErgoMounts were contacted to assist in supplying a large number of ergonomic LCD monitor arms to various departments of the casino to support new electronic 'point of need' terminals. At first the Casino imagined they would need to purchase a number of different solutions to meet the specific needs of each area however by liaising closely with the customer it was determined that the ErgoMounts VisionPro 500 series would be appropriate for all areas.

5 Star Bespoke Mounts

ErgoMounts were please to be involved in the recent Radisson Bristol and Cardiff hotel projects. The Radisson hotel group have more than 435 hotels ad 102,000 guest bedrooms throughout the world and are regarded as one of the premium brand leaders. Two new Radisson hotels in Cardiff and Bristol required bespoke LCD TV brackets due to the nature of the surrounding furniture.

ErgoMounts were approached to design a suitable solution that would provide a secure yet slim line fit whilst fitting within the newly designed furniture surround. Working with leading hospitality TV provider Locatel, ErgoMounts developed, prototyped , manufactured and supplied over 400 brackets within a 3 week period. The finalised TV bracket was also said to be one of the most user friendly that the Locatel installation engineers had installed.

All Aboard!

ErgoMounts recently completed the supply of all new AV mounting solutions to Wightlink Ferries. Each year, Wightlink carry over 5.5 million passengers between the mainland and the Isle of Wight via 8 car ferries and 2 high speed catamarans.

The project included a wide range of wall and ceiling mounted solutions for 20" - 37" LCD screens. The unusual nature of the installations across Wightlink's fleet of old and brand new car ferries involved detailed surveying and collaboration with the installation engineers from Swan Digital.

A combination of existing solutions and several bespoke components enabled ErgoMounts to meet the customers requirements in all areas.

ErgoMounts Share in McDonalds Investors In People Award

ErgoMounts were pleased to be invited to attend a Dinner hosted by McDonalds Restaurants to celebrate their recent Investors in People Award.

McDonalds has taken the lead in providing its employees with educational opportunities throughout its chain of 1000 plus restaurants in the U.K. ErgoMounts were proud to be involved in providing over 1100 computer workstations to enable McDonalds crew to access online educational resources.

The dinner was hosted by David Fairhurst, Senior Vice President, Chief People Office at the Commonwealth Club in Northumberland Avenue, London.

ErgoMounts Complete Major Computer Workstation Rollout

ErgoMounts have recently completed an 1100 unit roll out of a bespoke computer workstation for leading restaurant chain McDonalds.

ErgoMounts were approached to design and manufacturer a computer workstation to incorporate the latest generation of Dell XPS One computers along with its peripherals. The unit had to be complete with security fittings and bolt to the floor within McDonalds crew rooms.

After liaising closely with the client, ErgoMounts design team created a solution that not only emphasised the striking design of the Dell XPS One but also surpassed the original project brief. The bespoke computer workstation enables both sit and stand use, full rotation, left and right handed operator usage and a space efficient foot print.

From original meeting to commencement of roll out was just over 5 weeks, which demonstrates how ErgoMounts can respond to bespoke customer requirements.

Ergomounts Takes to the skies...

We are pleased to be the solutions partner of choice for leading telecommunications company Spectrum Interactive PLC . ErgoMounts have worked closely with Spectrum in designing a range of bespoke LCD display solutions for use at airports throughout the UK. Spectrum are UK's largest provider of public internet terminals into airport and hospitality environments allowing users to access the internet on a pay per minute basis.

ErgoMounts designed a number of multiple LCD mount floor stands enabling four LCD monitors to be positioned vertically or in an outward facing cube. A number of other ErgoMounts solutions have also been used to best display screens on a site by site basis.

ErgoMounts Limited Appointed European Warranty Centre for ICWUSA

ErgoMounts is pleased to announce, with immediate effect, that It is now the official European warranty and upgrade centre for ICW USA. ErgoMounts has been the official UK and European distributor for the ICW range of mounting solutions and is now able to offer a full after sales repair and upgrade service within the UK . During a recent visit to ICW's plant in Oregon, U.S.A, full training was provided to cover upgrades and repairs of all ICWUSA products.

This new agreement will provide more localised support for the many installations that ErgoMounts has supplied throughout the European community. The service will include upgrade facilities and full repair or replacement of gas springs.

The warranty offered by ICW is amongst the highest in the industry. Expectations are that the new warranty and upgrade centre will be used more for upgrades than resolving warranty issues as warranty related issues are few and far between.

New Elite Rex LCD monitor arm launched

Leading U.S manufacturer ICW have launched the new Elite REX LCD arm that builds on the success of the original Elite hospital arm.

The new REX head provides even greater movement and allows monitors to be locked off in position when required. The Elite series is a revolutionary range of high quality monitor only or monitor and keyboard supports which have a maximum reach of up to 63". Elite arms are available in wall desk and ceiling mount fittings and all incorporate full internal cable management.
