Airport Digital Signage Solution
A leading telecommunications client approached our design team to create a number of digital signage solutions that were required at numerous airport locations through out the country. After Initial site surveys were conducted it was clear that there would be some severe restrictions as to the available mounting positions. We were tasked with creating solutions to present multiple LCD monitors in a number of configurations.

All solutions had to be free standing as BAA (the airport operator) would not allow floor, wall or ceiling fixings. Detailed consultations with the client enabled ErgoMounts to present a number of free standing configurations for various areas of both landside and airside positions. The Custom Design Department designed a unique ‘quad box’ that presented four monitors, each facing outwards, on the top of a 2 metre pole. This was in turn attached to a large weighted base to enable a free standing solution to be positioned centrally within desk clusters. All cables were hidden as they were routed through the centre of the pole and provision was made within the ‘quad box’ to accommodate power supplies and CAT5 receivers.
The second quad configuration allowed four screens to be presented in a vertical arrangement on a small free standing base. This was then additionally anchored via a side mount to existing desks to provide a strong and safe solution.
