Vesa Standards

The VESA® (Video Electronic Standards Association ) FPMPMI Standard outlines the physical mounting interface and hole patterns located on the rear of most LCD tv / TFT Monitors. This hole pattern allows the monitor to be attached to third party mounting solutions. All ErgoMounts LCD / TFT mounting solutions adhere to this standard.

Monitors conforming to the VESA® FPMPMI standard should have a square hole spacing of either 75mm or 100mm. Some larger monitors / plasma screens have the new 100mm x 200mm or200mm x 200mm or 400mm x 600mm interface. If in doubt , please contact us to cross reference the compatibility of your LCD / Plasma

For LCD monitors up to 21" in size the VESA standards are:

A 75mm VESA interface requires a 96mm square flat are on the rear of the monitor
A 100mm VESA interface requires a 120mm square flat area on the rear of the monitor
